Joelle has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 25 years. She graduated with a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication from UC Davis, and with a M.S.Sp in Communication Disorders from Emerson College in Boston. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and is licensed by the State of California. She is also certified as a Non-Public Agency through the California Department of Education. Prior to starting her own practice, Joelle worked in varied settings including a non-profit early intervention program, California public schools, and a private clinic setting. In addition, she has been a supervisor for graduate students, SLPAs and clinical fellows. Joelle grew up in the Tri-valley and has long lasting ties to the community. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her teenage son, walking her dog, reading and traveling to near and far places
